Jennifer began skating when she was 10 years old. She grew up watching icons of Canadian ladies skating such as Josee Chouinard and Elizabeth Manley on TV, but she never dreamt that she too would someday be thought of as an icon in skating.
Jennifer was a natural at skating right from the start. She has a natural flow and elegance on the ice that cannot be taught.
She has been crowned Canadian Champion a total of six times. At the 2002 Winter Olympic Games she finished in 7th place.
