Elvis began skating when he was 5 years old and has become on of the best known names in skating since. Elvis has become a technical master of skating. He made history in 1991 when he became the first skater to ever land a quadruple, double jump combination. He made history again in 1997 when he became the first skater to ever land a quadruple, triple jump combination. He has competed in 4 Olympic Games and until the 1998 Games in Nagano, Japan he was the only man to ever skate both of his programs cleanly at the Olympics. Elvis has been the Canadian National Champion 7 times, World Champion 3 times and the Olympic Silver medalist 2 times. After the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, Elvis turned professional but continues to tour and perform in shows.
