Anabelle Began skating when she was 11 and Patrice began skating when he was 5. They began skating together in 1997 and have been climbing up the ranks ever since. Anabelle and Patrice had to withdraw from their first Canadian National Championships because Anabelle ran into the boards while performing a throw jump and fractured her skull. At the 2001 Nationals they finally stepped up to the podium taking the bronze. In 2002 they took the bronze again and in 2003 they took home the silver.
